Colin DePree enters his fourth season with the men’s basketball staff. Coach DePree hails from Holland, Mich., and graduated from Albion College of the powerful Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) in May 2008.
He moved to Twin Cities in August of 2008 to work for Menard’s in their management trainee program. DePree played one year at Albion before an injury ended his playing career. As a result, he served as a student assistant for his final three years and his responsibilities included running practice, recruiting, scouting and game preparation.
DePree currently works at Floyd Securities.
“Colin’s recruiting and scouting expertise continues to pay off in our practice and game preparation," says head coach Tim Whittle. "He has a tremendous basketball mind and is such an asset to our program.”
