ST. PAUL, Minn. – Former Macalester College baseball standout Mitch Glasser '12, who is currently at the Tokyo Olympics with Team Israel, chatted with Sports Information Director Matt McLagan to talk about his Olympic experience so far.

Glasser has started both of Team Israel's games in right field and has a pair of hits, a walk and a run. In the interview, he discusses the opening ceremony and the Olympic Village, the team's prospects in the Olympic tournament, and peaking late in his baseball career. He also takes a look back at his time at Macalester.

Glasser and Team Israel begin the double-elimination portion of the tournament with a game against Mexico Saturday night, July 31 at 10:00 p.m. Central. The broadcast can be found on the NBC Sports app.
