Macalester's top finish in day two of the MIAC indoor championships at St. John's was turned in by the 4x200-meter relay team, which placed fourth with a school-record 1:31.22 time, just .15 from taking runner-up honors to St. Thomas (1:30.43). Mac relay team sprinters were Andrew Yokom (Jr., Arden Hills, Minn. / Mounds View), Martin Stenman Andersson (So., Uppsala, Sweden / IT Gymnasiet Uppsala), Alex Rosselli (So., Columbus, Ind. / North) and Kevin Williams (Jr., Jamaica). 

In the 1000-meter run, Wade Eckstrom (So., La Crescent, Minn.) placed 11th (2:36.99), Tyson Morgan (Jr., Lewiston, Me.) placed 12th (2:37.23) and Josh Springer (Sr., Portland, Ore. / Cleveland) was 15th (2:38.94).  Matt Wegmann (Sr., North Oaks, Minn. / Mounds View) finished 13th in the 3000-meter run (8:55.31).
