Ron Groce played one season in the National Football League for his hometown Minnesota Vikings after graduating from Macalester. As a senior running back, Groce was the third-leading rusher in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference before being drafted by the Vikings. He rushed for 858 yards and 4.7 yards per carry and was voted as Mac's Most Valuable Player by his teammates.
Groce has served on the M Club Board of Directors for three terms.
