Ralph Greig, a member of the M-Club, was a four sport participant who earned nine letters.

In 1916, he became the first Macalester athlete to win four letters in one year (only the second man in the state of Minnesota to do so) - in baseball, track and field, football and basketball.

Greig 's accomplishments include being named as All-State quarterback in 1919, and All-State in basketball. He set a school record the 220 yard low hurdles in 1916, and was also a highly-touted second baseman, according to the Mac Weekly.
