Darwin Klockers joins teammates Joseph Mannikko '66, John D. Van Winkle '66, and James DeWeerd '68 in the Hall of Fame. A member of relay teams which won six NAIA titles, Klockers helped Macalester win national championships three years in a row. He placed in the top six in every individual event he competed in at nationals and earned All-America honors all four years. Klockers also won events and set records at conference championships all four years.
Stints as a freshman class president and as a Community Council member helped prepare Klockers for a distinguished professional career. He has served as a vice president with Radisson Hotels and National Car Rental, and has been a member of the Minnesota and American Bar Associations and the National Association of Real Estate Executives. Klockers has been a Little League coach and league president in his Fridley, Minnesota, community.
