The Duhawks, who are going for their third straight Final Four appearance, advance to the Round of 16 and improve to 20-2-1. Both men are also biology majors&mdash;and friends&mdash;who have done cutting-edge research in molecular genetics.  Their research involves identifying species by sequencing the DNA, long bits of four-letter genetic code. Using DNA sequences rather than morphology (form and structure) to describe species is called DNA barcoding. The Scots improve to 13-7-1 and will play national power Loras tomorrow at 6 p.m. in a second round match. No. 7-ranked Loras (19-2-1) is going for its third straight Final Four appearance and the Scots are looking to play the spoiler. The Scots, who beat Grinnell 3-2 earlier this season, come in with a 12-7-1 overall record, while Grinnell is 9-7-4. On the other side of the bracket, Loras (16-2-1) will take on Webster (Mo.) (10-6-1). Registering seven big saves to post the team&rsquo;s seventh shutout of the season Mullaney dealt with everything that got through the Macalester back line. MIAC playoff winners receive automatic berths in the NCAA Division III championship playoffs.  The women play Tuesday at St. Thomas and the men play host to St. Olaf Wednesday night.   Complimentary tickets for both Tuesday's match at UST and Wednesday night's home match will be available to Macalester students.
