The Scots shot 47% from the floor, including 9-for-21 on three-pointers, and received points from 12 different players.  Colin Keely posted a double-double, scoring 18 points and grabbing 11 rebounds, to lead the way for Macalester. Whittle arrives in St. Paul following a successful assistant coaching stint at national powerhouse Washington University in St. Louis.  Whittle has served as the top assistant and recruiting coordinator for the two-time NCAA Division III National Champion Washington University program and in five seasons at Washington U., helped guide the Bears to a 112-30 overall record and three consecutive Final Four appearances. Kietzer informed the college and his team of his intentions on Friday.  During his tenure, Kietzer&rsquo;s record was 112-189. Among his most notable accomplishment was his team&rsquo;s success from 2001-02 through 2004-05, when the Scots made it to the conference playoffs three times in four years.
