Each team had chances on offense and moved the ball better than the final score would indicate, but struggled in the red zone, and on third- and fourth-down conversions. The Scots enjoyed success passing the ball down field and averaged 17 yards per reception. Aaron Gallegos and Josh Boomgaarden picked off a pair of passes each and Gallegos returned the opening kickoff deep into CSS territory to set the stage for Macalester&rsquo;s big day.  The Scots allowed just three first downs in the opening half and by that time were up by a safe 35-7 margin.
