The Scots have returned from their Spring Break trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina, where they played four matches and went 1-3 against solid competition.

The trip started off with a 5-4 victory over Bloomsburg (Pa.) as the Scots claimed two of the three doubles matches.  Macalester then fell to the College of Wooster (Ohio) 5-2, Nebraska Wesleyan 8-1 and Allegheny (Pa.) 9-0.

Leading the way for the Scots in singles play during the week – both with 2-2 records – were Paige Schaefer (Sr., Madison, Wis. / East) at No. 1 and Carmen Whitehead (Jr., Greeley, Colo. / West) at No. 3.  Whitehead and Katelyn Glenna (So., Winona, Minn.) were 2-2 at No. 1 doubles.
