Macalester alumni Robin Major '11, a former all-conference middle distance runner, was featured in her hometown paper for her 3,000-mile bike ride to raise funds for youth-led sustainability efforts.

That's how far Vermont Robin Major, 22, will have pedaled when she gets back to her home in Minnesota. She is riding with four of her college friends to raise money for Grand Aspirations, a youth-led nonprofit founded by some of her college friends. They have been filming their travels and their interactions with the people they meet along the way.
