Complete St. Mary's Invitational results

Macalester started its fall campaign at the St. Mary's Invitational in Winona and placed fourth out of four teams. St. Mary's won the meet with 35 points, followed by Luther (Ia.) with 45, Winona State with 52 and Macalester with 106.

Carl Biggers (Jr., Verona, Wis.) placed 12th out of 77 finishers to lead the way for Macalester. Biggers completed the four-mile course in 23:10.

Ryan Sutley (So., Bellingham, Wash.) was the team's No. 2 runner, placing 30th (24:08) and Dale Dybvig (Sr., Osceola, Wis.) finished 33rd (24:22). Adrian St. Francis (So., Sonoma, Calif. / Marin Academy) was 36th (24:30).

The Scots return to competition next Saturday (Sept. 11) at the St. John's Invitational in Collegeville.
