Grace Caird (So.,
Shorewood, Wis.) finished in ninth place to earn all-conference honors at the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Championships at Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids. Caird turned in consistent scorecards of 87, 84 and 85 for a three-round tally of 256.
Wrapping up the fall campaign as one of the MIAC's most improved players, Caird was 40th at last year's conference tournament with a 290. Her sophomore fall campaign, however, featured a ninth-place finish at the Cobber Invitational and fourth-place performance at the Division III Midwest Classic, and her ninth-place MIAC finish gives Macalester an all-conference golfer in four of the last five years.
Maddie Arbisi (Fy., Stillwater, Minn.) was the No. 2 player for the young Macalester team, posting rounds of 93, 92 and 93 to place 30th out of 50 entrants with a three-round 278.
Gustavus walked away with the team title over runner-up St. Olaf and GAC's Katie Schenfeld repeated as individual champ by 15 strokes.
