The All-MIAC men's tennis team
Macalester sophomore
Michael Coleman (Westlake Village, Calif. Agoura) and senior
Charlie Edelman (Tucson, Ariz. / University) have earned All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) men's tennis honors.
Coleman, who played in the No. 2 spot in the lineup, receives All-MIAC singles recognition after going 12-9 on the season at second singles, including 4-5 in MIAC play.
Coleman and Edelman have received All-MIAC doubles recognition. Mac's No. 1 doubles team went 4-5 in conference play.
Representation on the all-conference squad is based on a combination of won-loss record and placing in the singles and doubles lineup.
As part of a conference-wide sportsmanship initiative, the MIAC announced the third annual All-MIAC Sportsmanship team for men's tennis. Members of the All-MIAC Sportsmanship team are selected by their coaches and teammates as individuals who demonstrate ideals of positive sportsmanship both on and off the field of competition. Edelman was selected as Macalester's representative.
