Macalester plays Friday through Saturday (May 1-3) at the Collegiate III national championships at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

Coming off their most successful regular-season ever and earning the automatic berth from the Midwest Region, the Scots enter with a 16-11 record and winners of eight of their last nine games.

Macalester is the seventh-seeded team in this eight-team tournament. The Scots play games Friday (May 1) against UC-Santa Cruz and Occidental (Calif.) and play Saturday morning against Grove City (Pa.). The rest of the schedule will depend on how the team did in its first three games.

The other participating teams are Pomona-Pitzer (Calif.), Redlands (Calif.), Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) and Cal State East Bay.
