Macalester vs. Wooster box score

Playing their second match of the day, Macalester took on Wooster (Ohio) in a close battle and came out on the short end of a 5-4 tally Wednesday at Hilton Head. With one day left on the team's Spring Break trip, the Scots are now 8-7 on the season and 2-3 on the trip.

The difference in the match was Wooster victories in two of the three doubles matches.

Charlie Edelman (Sr., Tucson, Ariz. / University) won a 15-13 second set tiebreak to earn a 6-3, 7-5 victory at No. 1 singles. Macalester also fought to three-set wins at fourth and fifth singles behind the performances of Ali Bandeali (Fy., Karachi, Pakistan / Karachi Grammar School) and Evan Elderbrock (Fy., Madison, Wis. / West).

Elderbrock and Titus Levy (Jr. New York, N.Y. / Fieldston School) took an 8-6 decision at third doubles.
