Annie Flanagan (Sr., Madison, Wis. / East) made her next-to-last collegiate diving performance an outstanding one as the MIAC Diver of the Year placed ninth in 3-meter diving at the NCAA Division III championships in Minneapolis at the University of Minnesota. Flanagan, Macalester's record-setting diver on both boards, will finish her career Friday in the 1-meter competition.

Flanagan's 11-dive preliminary round score in the afternoon was 411.75, less than five points short of making into the evening's finals and securing a first-team All-America award.

A month ago, at this same U of M venue, Flanagan won the MIAC 1-meter and 3-meter diving crowns. She broke her own school records in nearly every meet this season.
