The championship bracket | Interactive bracket | NCAA Championship website

MIAC playoff champion Macalester brings a six-match winning streak into the 59-team NCAA Division III championship playoffs, which begin Saturday (Nov. 14) against Grinnell College. The Scots, making their 10th NCAA appearance, are in a four-team bracket at Loras College in Dubuque, Ia.  A live webcast and live stats will be provided by Loras.

The Scots, who beat Grinnell 3-2 earlier this season, come in with a 12-7-1 overall record, while Grinnell is 9-7-4.   They will kick off at 7:30 p.m.  Mac won the MIAC playoff title to get in and Grinnell took the Midwest Conference playoffs. On the other side of the bracket, No. 3-ranked Loras (16-2-1) will take on Webster (Mo.) (10-6-1). The two winners will play Sunday at Loras at 6 p.m.

Macalester is making its first NCAA appearance since 2005 and 10th overall.  The Scots made it in by shutting out St. Olaf and Carleton in the MIAC playoffs.  Grinnell, making its first NCAA appearance, got in by winning a shootout over Beloit in the Midwest Conference finals.
