The 2009 fall campaign wrapped up Saturday-Monday with a 10th-place finish at the MIAC championships at Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids.

Macalester struggled during Saturday's first round and finished with a team score of 428, but played better on Sunday and Monday, posting marks of 395 and 388.

Ellen Bubak (Sr., Sioux Falls, S.D. / Lincoln) was Mac's top player at the championships, finishing in 37th place with a 54-hold total of 284. She had rounds of 102, 92 and 90. Grace Caird (Fy., Shorewood, Wis.) turned in scores of 102, 96 and 92 for a 290. The team's No. 3 player was Molly Faulkner (So., Higland Park, Ill.) finished with a 306 (108-99-99).

Gustavus easily won the team championship.  Top individual honors went to Katie Schenfeld of Gustavus with a 236 (80-78-78).
