Jeff Yamashita (Jr., Honolulu, Hi. / Iolani School) reached the wall first in the 100 free (50.24). Macalester also won the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:30.95) behind the swims of Paco Venneri (So., Los Alamos, N.M.), Jackson Gilkey (Fy., Millis, Mass. / Xaverian Brothers), Yamashita and Young.
