Twenty Macalester College winter and spring sport athletes have received Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Academic All-Conference honors, as announced by the conference today. A total of 48 Macalester athletes have received this award this past academic year, with 28 fall sport athletes honored earlier.

The MIAC recognized 387 athletes who represented the conference's thirteen institutions. Student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior, or senior with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale to qualify for MIAC Academic All-Conference recognition. Athletically, student-athletes in basketball, hockey, baseball, softball and tennis must compete in 50% of their team’s varsity regular season contests. Swimming & diving and track & field student-athletes must qualify for the conference finals to be eligible.
