Macalester was one of hundreds of colleges nation-wide which are hosting the fourth-annual Ted Mullen “Leave it in the Pool” Hour of Power Relay in the name of cancer research on Tuesday (Nov. 10).  The event was in honor of former Carleton College student and athlete Edward H. “Ted” Mullin, who passed away from sarcoma, a rare soft-tissue cancer, in 2006.   The event is a one-hour, all-out, leave-it-in-the-pool practice that was staged simultaneously at numerous pools across the country. Joining the Scots in this event at the Riley Pool were be Hamline, St. Thomas, St. Catherine and Augsburg.
