Macalester men's and women's golf coach Martha Nause is playing this weekend the the Legends Tour of the LPGA in Hawaii and is sharing her experiences through her blog. Fall season winds down at MIAC tourney

The 2009 fall campaign wrapped up Saturday-Monday with a 10th-place finish at the MIAC championships at Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids. Ellen Bubak was Mac’s top player at the championships, finishing in 38th place with a 54-hold total of 284. She had rounds of 102, 92 and 90. Grace Caird turned in scores of 102, 96 and 92 for a 290.

MIAC golf championships are Oct. 3-5 at Bunker Hills

The 2009 MIAC golf championships will take place this Saturday-Monday, October 3-5, at Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids. The 54-hole event will feature ten men’s and ten women’s teams competing for the MIAC team title, individual medalist honors, and an automatic qualification into this spring’s NCAA championships for the team champions.
